Yvette was part of the
original management committee during the formation of the service in 2002 and
then joined the staff team in 2003 as the Project Co-ordinator. She was
instrumental in the development of early relationships with partner
organisations and also in the design and implementation of our evidence based
practice. Yvette is currently Victim Safety Manager for the service and
provides IDVA support to adult victims. Yvette is a leading IDVA in the region
and ensures that the victim safety team, that she manages, are fully supported
to provide a high quality service to our clients. Yvette has studied
counselling, psychology, management and teaching and is specifically qualified
as an IDVA and an ISVA. She has also recently (2016) completed the gender based
violence service managers qualification provided by ‘Safe Lives’.
