Vanessa joined the service in
2011 as a Children’s Support Worker. Vanessa has since taken the role of Youth
Respect Parenting Officer. Vanessa works directly with parents of young people
(11-18) that are displaying abusive behaviours and facilitates restorative
family meetings. Vanessa is also the child protection lead. Prior to joining
the service Vanessa gained 13 years’ experience in Children’s Services as a
Deputy Manager at a nursery and a Family Support Worker. Vanessa is qualified
in working with children, young people and families.
